Sniper Bean Bags

From the maker: Chris Jamison

I started making these rests for myself and a few friends and local LEO snipers a little over a year ago, and they have become pretty popular among tactical shooters, varmint hunters and others who shoot regularly from the prone position while using a bipod. Much field research went into these bags and I am still making little improvements here and there.

The bags weigh about a pound and easily carried as a stand-alone rest or attached to the rifle’s rear sling swivel. They are made from 1000 denier Cordura nylon and come in 5 colors. They are filled with Fairfield Industries Poly-Pellets and do not soak up water or swell when wet. An application of Camp Dry or Scotch Guard makes them virtually waterproof. The attachment cord is mil-spec 7 strand Parachute Cord and is color matched to the bag color. The bags are sewn with commercial grade nylon thread and are approximately 5”wide x 7” high x 2” deep and are shaped like a pillow. They are designed to be used standing on end under the butt of the rifle, but they make a good front rest for a ledge or window and two used in tandem make a good pistol rest.

Here is a photo of the colors available…. Desert MARPAT, OD Green, three color desert, black, and...   Just added: US Army Digital Camo!

(Woodland MARPAT , shown in picture above, not available at this time)
