Customer feedback on TRS-1 Scope:
Hi Donnie--- Bob Lavigne here,I finally got a chance to really work over that TRS1 Millet I bought from you a while back and I have to say that this thing is probably right in between a Vari X II and a Vari X-III and way ahead of my SS as far as clarity .With it mounted on my B&C stocked 10FP LE2a 26" bbl Savage ,Warne rail and Burris low Tactical rings I ran a box at 100 yards and the scope repeated a square(center shot, 3moa left, 3up,6right,6down,6left,3up 3right) 3 times on the same target with astonishing repeatability. The hole print on the top right and center shot were ragged holes while the others were very respectable ranging from .336 to .550 using my sweetheart 308 SMK loads. All shots were from a machine rest on a calm 79degree morning. The rest of day was spent running the elevation up and down wacking 12" square plates using a bi-pod ranging from 200 yards to 500 yards (thats all we have here) with the odd rock buster a 735 yards I'll say at the end of the day the scope was still as accurate and repeatable as it was at the beginning of the day and I was duely impressed to say the least.I've got a blind on an old power line here where I'm going to use this setup this fall, man it's sweet shooting combination I have here and that TRS1 is probably the best buy I've made in quite a while.
Bob
Donnie,
I mounted the Millet TRS-1 on a Rem 700 LTR in Badger rings on a flat pic't base and am shooting .5 MOA CTC groups from a bipod and butt bag. Awesome scope and great ship/service from you. I will recommend you to anyone who will listen.
